How to find us

Abridge Golf and Country Club, situated near to the village of Abridge and is within easy reach of the M11 and M25 motorways, as well as the A406 (North Circular Road).  The Club has ample car parking facilities. The club is also accessible from the Central Line underground from either Theydon Bois or Epping

Directions to Abridge Golf and Country Club

From the City and Central London

Leave London via A13 or via Stratford and Leytonstone following signs for M11 (Sign posted Harlow, Cambridge). At Redbridge join M11 Northbound.

Leave M11 at junction 5, sign posted Loughton (A1168).  At bottom of slip road turn on to dual carriageway, signposted Ongar and Chigwell. (Note: this is no exit from M11 at the intersection of the M11 and the M25).  In ½ mile, at mini roundabout, turn left on the A113, sign posted Ongar, and Abridge.  In 2miles enter Abridge Village.  In centre of village opposite petrol filling station, turn left on to B172, sign posted Epping and Theydon Bois.  Cross over the hump backed bridge and in 250 yards, opposite the black barn, turn right into Epping Lane.

Proceed along Epping Lane for about 1 mile.  Take care as this is a very narrow road.  Pass turning on left sign posted Epping and Coopersale.  Continue for about another 40 yards and the entrance to the club grounds will be found on the left. 

From North Circular Road

Follow North Circular Road (A406)to Woodford / Redbridge, (North East London) and join M11 North bound sign posted Harlow Cambridge.

From M11 Southbound

At junction 6 turn West on the M25 (Sign posted Watford, M1 The North) BEWARE: There is no exit from M11 South Bound at junction 5 or at the intersection of M11 AND M25.
 

Leave M25 at junction 26 sign posted Loughton (A121).  Follow sign posts for Loughton.  Proceed along A121 (Skillet Hill and Wood ridden Hill).  At roundabout at top of hill take the second exit, sign posted Theydon Bois (B172). Proceed through Epping Forest and then Theydon Bois Village.  After village continue along B172 and take the second turn on the left (about 1 ½ miles) opposite black barn.  This is Epping Lane (Note: There is no exit from M25 at the intersection of the M11 and M25.
