How do I enter competitions

How to obtain your handicap

New members who join the Club without an active handicap need to hand in three cards before they can enter any Club competitions.  Should your handicap become inactive you are requested to speak to members of staff in the Pro-shop prior to starting your round and tell them that you would like to put a card in for handicap purposes. They will enter you in the book and charge a minimal fee.  You are required to hand in three cards in this way to gain an active handicap.

How to Enter Competitions

To enter Club competitions you will need to swipe your Abridge card on the computer in the Spike Bar, or Pro Shop, and, on certain occasions, you will be requested to pay the Pro-shop. Sometimes other arrangements are made and are explained on the days of the competition.  Please ensure that your Club Card is in credit by topping this up, if necessary, behind the bar or in the restaurant.
