We are after you!

Thank you for the foot who did this!, we will be conducting ‘Cinderella’ Shoe tests on all golfers today to see whose footprint this is. In the meantime holes 1-4 will be closed still today, so please start your round at the 5th tee. Buggy’s and ALL Trolley’s must remain on paths at all times. Please take care when you play there are some very wet and slippery areas. Please also ‘Tee up’ on the fairways to protect the surfaces. Thank you for your help, I will name and shame the foot culprit once we find them!

An up and down week

Heavy rain last night has made the course wet again and the forecast is very up and down this week of sunshine and showers. As you can see a bit like my skiing though more down than up. The picture is me trying to be Eddie the Eagle last week ! All holes are open but please take care. Buggy’s and ALL wheeled trolleys must stick to the paths. Please note we have brought in the Red and Yellow Tee markers for painting. Ladies please play off the red stones, Gentleman please play off the Blue Tee markers. Thank you

Sunday at Abridge

All 18 holes open this morning and are all on main greens apart from the 2nd which is still wet on the right hand side so unfortunately this is on a temporary green, The practice 8th green is currently in use as the 8th green so please play to the green to the left, The course is still wet in places so please take care, BUGGIES AND TROLLEYS ARE TO STAY ON PATHS AT ALL TIMES. Please repair any pitch marks on the greens that you make or even see. thank you and enjoy your round.

Another dull grey day !

Another day without any rain has allowed us to have all 18 holes open again, unfortunately the overcast and dull grey days are not very good drying conditions so the course is still wet in places, The course set up will be the same as the last 2 days. BUGGIES AND TROLLEYS ARE TO STAY ON PATHS AT ALL TIMES. Please repair any pitch marks on the greens that you make or even see. Please take care as its still very wet and slippery.

Dry For A Whole 7 Days!!!!

We’ve had no rain for 7 days, however, there hasn’t been hardly any wind or sun so the course hasn’t really dried much. It has allowed us to have 18 holes open for the last 3 days and its looking promising going into the weekend. The course set up will be the same as the last 2 days. BUGGIES AND TROLLEYS ARE TO STAY ON PATHS AT ALL TIMES. Please repair any pitch marks on the greens that you make or even see. Please take care as its still very wet and slippery.

18 Holes Open

All 18 holes are open for play with a couple of adjustments. The first tee will be an artificial mat rather than the grass tee and the 8th green will remain closed. Instead play will be to the practice 8th green on the left of the 8th green. BUGGIES AND TROLLEYS ARE TO STAY ON PATHS AT ALL TIMES!!!!! Please take care out there as it is still very slippery out there. Thank you for your cooperation.
