Rain, Rain Go Away!

We’ve had some rain overnight and there is more forecast for today. Buggies are to stay on paths on all 18 holes. Trolleys with smooth and winter wheels are to stay on paths on all 18 holes unless instructed to do differently on the tee box on each hole. Please take care on the course as certain areas will be wet again after the rainfall.

Dry And Cold…But There’s Rain On The Way!!

Another cold start but at least its dry….for now. Temporary greens will be in use to start due to the frost. Buggies are to stay on the paths on all 18 holes. Trolleys with smooth and winter wheels must also stay on the paths on all 18 holes unless instructed differently by the signage on individual tee boxes. Although we’ve had four days of dry weather, there are still wet areas on the course so please take care.

Don’t Complain About The Cold!

A cold day again today. Temporary greens may be in use to start with dependant on the severity of the frost. Buggies are to stay on paths on all 18 holes. Trolleys with smooth and winter wheels are to stay on paths unless instructed to do differently on tee signage. Please be aware it is still quite wet in some areas, so please take care whilst walking around.

An sharp frost to start with today so greens will all be on temps until further notice. Buggies are to stay on paths on all 18 holes. Trolleys with smooth and winter wheels are also requested to stay on paths unless instructed to do differently on specific holes. Please check signage on each tee box. Please be aware that although we’ve had a few dry days, the course is still quite wet so take care whilst walking around.

Give Us A Break!!!

More wet weather overnight and this morning has topped up the already saturated golf course!! Apparently drier and colder next week, fingers crossed!!

There may be some temporary greens in use today. Please check at the pro shop for updates.

Buggies are to stay on paths at all times and all trolleys(smooth and winter wheels) are to stay on paths at all times unless instructed to do differently on particular holes. Please read the signage on each tee.

A Bit More Rain Wont Hurt!!!

With more rain yesterday,overnight and some more due today, its needless to say the course is wet!!

Joking aside, it is vert wet under foot at the moment so please take care if you are venturing out to play.

Buggies are to stay on the buggy path and walk to your ball. Trolleys with smooth wheels are to stay on the paths on all 18 holes. Trolleys with winter wheels, are to use paths on holes 1-5 then can walk anywhere after that.

There may be a few temporary greens in use but please check at the pro shop for updates.

24 hours dry….Unheard of!!

Its been dry for the last 24 hours…Hooray!!

Just a bit chilly now.

Normal rules with buggies staying on the paths and trolleys with winter wheels sticking to paths 1-5 and slick wheel trolleys sticking to all paths.

There may be a couple of temporary greens in play and the 1st tee is now on an artificial tee mat.

PLEASE REPAIR PITCH MARKS…there seems to be a lot of them not being repaired at the moment!

Two Dry Days In A Row…Unheard Of!!!

Finally, we’ve had some fairer weather!

Buggies are still only allowed on the front 9 holes and are to stick to the paths. Smooth wheeled trolleys are to stick to the paths where possible and use the roughs where not possible. Winter wheeled trolleys may go anywhere on the course.

If you would like to purchase some winter wheels, they are available from the pro shop.

There may still be some temporary greens in use.

A Drier Day In Store

Finally a dry weekday!!

Buggies are allowed only on the front 9 holes and are to stick to the paths.

Trolleys with winter wheels can be used anywhere on the course. Trolleys with slick wheels are to use paths and roughs where paths aren’t possible.

There may be a couple of temporary greens in use.
